Follow these steps to claim your grant quickly

  1. Check your Business Rates bill to see if you receive Small Business Rate Relief (SBRR) or Rural Rate Relief (RRR).
  2. If you do, then Local Authorities should be writing to you to advise you that you are eligible for the grant. If you have received this letter then complete the form and return it to them or submit it online.
  3. If you have not yet received the letter, contact your Local Authority right away to find out if you are eligible and how you can complete the claim form.
  4. We strongly advise that you follow up with the Local Authority that your claim form was received and that the grant will be awarded.
  5. Once you have been informed that the grant has been awarded, follow up with the Local Authority and find out when the payment will be made.
  6. Keep following up until the money is safely in your account.
